Since 2011, we provide qualified patients with the highest quality Maine-grown medical cannabis within their needs and means.
We support members’ full-spectrum wellness, and foster education about medical cannabis throughout the state and beyond. Community Giving
Giving back to our community is central to what we do and who we are. At Wellness Connection of Maine, we are committed to investing for the benefit of our members, our employees and our communities at large.
A close-up look at how our efforts help support our Maine communities:
1. 11% of WCM gross sales were dedicated to donations or facilitating access to medical cannabis for qualified patients in need.
2. Wellness Connection of Maine donated $60,000 as charitable contributions towards like-minded Maine community associations, as well as our members’ and employees’ charities of choice.
3. 97% of Wellness Connection of Maine spending goes to Maine-based businesses. We carefully select our vendor partners and privilege those who are Maine-based. 70+ full time jobs have been created internally since 2011. Another form of contribution is the local, state and federal taxes and licensing fees we pay.
4. We view it as our responsibility to limit our impact on the environment. From pesticide-free cultivation to paperless administration as well as packaging recycling, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. Last but not least, we are funding “greening initiatives” in our communities such as tree planting or trails opening.
